Anyone going to the D23 Marceline event?

I can't say I am, but after a quick Google search to find out what you were talking about, it sounds amazing. Good for D23 trying harder to reach out to us Midwesterners.

Wish I knew about this event sooner. We went to Marceline last September on our way to Branson. We were there on a Sunday morning so really didn't get to see much.

Had a blast! Very cool event. The whole town basically shut down for us, and everyone was very kind and gracious. Hopefully they'll continue to go there for an event annually, as it is good for the town and great for fans.

I hope they do - I'd go back in a heart beat. As I said we didn't get a chance to see much and Marceline isn't jumping on an early Sunday morning. Poor planning on our part. :lol:

It was a great day. The reception with the school-kids was wonderful and everyone in the town was a joy to meet and speak with. Pretty much perfectly planned out. So much different from The Expo.
