Anyone ever been Grand Marshals?

I was just wondering if anyone out there has been the Grand Marshals for any parades? I have been going to WDW for just about 20 years...and have about 30 trips under my belt.....but have never beein a Grand Marshal! Maybe one day....

What is Marshals? I have been to WDW about 20 times but have no clue what this is.

Also, you said to check out your pictures. How do I find them?

We just got back from a fun filled week in WDW. . .while at Animal Kingdom we watched the Jammin Jungle Parade and there were about 10 people that got chosen to be Grand Marshall's in that parade. . .wouldn't that just be awsome? We were at the very start of the parade and I noticed that each one received a small disposable camera to take pictures along the parade route and to keep for a momento. . .man I would love to have that experience! It looked awsome! Disney Dreams!! :wave:

The Grand Marshals are the people that get chosen to be in the parade. Usually they are at the beginning of the parade. But not always.

I've always wanted to do it. But I never get asked.

I just went and looked. I have seen your pictures before. I really, really love the B&W of Journey to Imagination. Very classy shot.

Thanks bout the pictures It means a lot. I'm a Photography major. And next time I'm at the World, I'm going to be taking TONS of pictures!

I am into photography myself. Really started after my daughter was born. I do all digital, my wife does film. I also do a lot of artsy type photoshop stuff on some of my photos. I was groing to try to start selling some at art/craft shows. This spring. If you have the chance take a look at these ones I did and posted in a gallery here. Could you give me an honest opinion? I would rather get a feel for what people like then think that I am doing OK and really not. The pictures look best if you click to see the larger images.

My Parent lost me once @ mgm.. about an hour before the parade.. i was talking to some real nice CM's in guest relations about stuff.. and this other CM came in with a model family [mum,dad,2 kids] and they were the marshels, they got them some goodies and breifed them on what to do.

The really nice CM let me have a peek backstage where all the floats were stored.. but guess who had the camera

oh yeh.. some weirdo came in with a wooden monkey for a cm who was in the parade... :veryconfu

anyway on my next visit i saw the very cool nice guest relations cm walking with the parade. He didnt remember me
