A Really Good friend of mine enjoys the Harry Potter books, and the first movie, but she didn't care for the 1st LotR movie. She told me she thought there'd be more magic in it, and that there was just too much fighting. I told her she's NOT gonna like The Two Towers then, since there's even MORE fighting in it. Much, MUCH more!!

I like Star Trek also, but I'm NOT a "Trekkie", since I don't care THAT much for it. :lol: Yes, I've seen all the original episodes, most of the Next Generation eps, all of the movies, and the majority of the eps from DS9, but I've only seen about 2 seasons of Voyager (however long THAT lasted :veryconfu ), and so far only part of 1 ep of the new series. I can't even remember the name of it. :lol: I THINK it's "Enterprise", but I'm not sure. I've also only read one book, "Star Trek II:The Wrath of Khan", though I DID read it twice.

I've read the majority of the SW books, but I'm a bit behind on them, since they keep coming out with new ones so quickly. I also have to keep up on my Battletech/Mechwarrior books, as well as any other Sci-Fi or Fantasy titles that catch my eye. When I was Active Duty, I'd usually catch up on my reading whenever we went to the field. :lol: When I was stationed in Hawaii, I had to go to The Big Island of Hawaii for 29 days, and I read about 26 books while I was there! When I was at Ft. Campbell, I went on about three (maybe more?) 30-Day field exercises, and I probably read an average of 20 books during each of those!

Since I'm CONSTANTLY buying new books, I'm NEVER gonna live long enough to read them all!
