Anyone else heading down this upcoming week with former hurricane Eta on its way?...

In typical 2020 fashion, former (and maybe soon to be reformed) hurricane Eta / the rain will be arriving on the first day of our trip this Monday.

Anyone else going and excited to spend 5-6 days getting soaked?

I'm debating just cancelling. We have AP and dvc.

I'm not going, but we had one trip where we had 5 days of tropical storms and two days of the second week in rainy periods. It certainly changed our plans on how we were going to be enjoying our time. We also watched the weather forecast prior to going, debating on cancelling but decided to go anyway. We managed to restructure our days and were able to have a great trip. I guess it all depends on how much you want the trip and how soon you could rebook a followup. We were in a position that it would be then or not until another year.

We were in the same boat (yes, pun intended). We kept debating about going. Made a list of pros and cons. Too many check marks in the bad column. Our trip was scheduled for Nov 10-16 at the YC. It really hurt cancelling, first time to do that in 47 years of WDW vacations.

Heading over (from the Space Coast) on Tuesday. Staying @ the Poly for the 1st time since the pandemic (No comments necessary from science deniers). No Trader Sam's, but still very excited!

Sorry you did that. It came and went. You might have noticed some blustery rain on 11/11. But now it's already off the east coast of FL.

We ended up coming down. Glad we did. A little rain Sunday the eighth. First day at Hollywood was a wet mess, nov. 9, this past Monday.

Epcot Tuesday and MK yesterday were awesome.

Today at MK it started wet but we just would do the radar tracking and time it so that we were eating lunch or inside a longer indoor show during the rain. We've managed to skip most of it today and now it looks like it's gone for good the rest of the trip!
