Anyone else have a guide book obsession?

I LOVE coming on here and I find that talking to people about their experiences and getting suggestions, has been the most helpful thing when planning my trip. But there is something satisfying about having a big chunky guide book in my hands

Do you guys have a big old stack of WDW guide books that you refer back to when trip planning?

I have never used a guidebook at WDW. We always use the daily schedules that they hand out, but it's always for my wife. I think that I would wander aimlessly were it not for her. I would still have fun, but very much in a disorganized manner.

My guidebook collection started with the Birmbaum for Kids books in '97. I try to get my hands on the new Birmbaums and UG as often as I can now.

I don't really buy the guides anymore. Mostly I go by experience and when in doubt I always come to the boards where there are great people always willing to help out.

I'm an Unofficial Guide junkie. I just got one for DL as I'm edging closer and closer to heading out west.
