Anyone at WDW in last few days?

I'm headed down to WDW and Universal this Monday for 8 days.. and it's been over 2 1/2 years since I've been! Can anyone tell me how the crowds/weather have been for either parks? I know alot of people said it calms down near the end of August.. can I expect this, or will it still be packed and muggy? I see there's also a tropical storm possibly enroute.. that's a good time. ha ha. :shrug:

It might be the better time of the summer to go in the middle of August - crowd wise.

Expect the weekends to be packed, for sure. I don't know if there is a last minute push to get a week in at Disney before the school year starts.



For that matter.... when does the FL / Orlando area school year start? Here in Virginia, it starts after Labor Day, but I know in some other school districts, it starts around the 3rd week of August. IF Fl schools start in August... then it is going to be a great time for you to go.
