Anyone A Dollar Fastlane Member ?

I booked my vehicle a few weeks ago but was unable to join Fastlane until last week due to the fact that the website was under construction for a month.
I still have not received my welcome package and I was intent on using the free upgrade coupon that comes with it.
If I explain this to the Dollar rep,do you think they will give it to me without the paper coupon ?

I joined Dollar's FastLane program a couple of weeks ago and received the welcome packet about a week or two after joining. The certficate states:

This certificate entitles you to a one-class upgrade from a compact or intermediate class car to the next higher class at no extra charge. Simply make a reservation for a compact or intermediate class car, then present this certificate to the DOLLAR rental agent when you arrive ... blah blah blah legalese ... This certificate must be surrendered at time of rental, may not be used in conjunction with any other certificate or promotion, has no cash value, and expires on December 14, 2004.

They could hold you to it, but it's worth a shot to ask if you haven't received your welcome packet by the time you leave.

I'm a Fastlane member.. lol. I rent from Dollar quite frequently, since they're located 15ft from my work. I usually rent midsize, and always (not regularly, ALWAYS) get upgraded to a Grand Cherokee, 300C, Magnum, or PT Cruiser Convertible GT. Gotta love em..
