I saw another web site describe it as mysterous and coming out in Summer 2008. Anybody know more? I'm even more down on the Rat movie than the Car movie, but we all know how much fun Cars turned out to be.

"Wall-E"????

I've heard about it on some animation forums, but information seems to be pretty sparse.

I can't seem to find anything at the moment about it...but I'll keep nosing around...I'm sure I'll run across something.

Quotage:

"Disney and Pixar have set Wall-E, Andrew Stanton's next film, for a release date of June 27, 2008. Not much is known about the plot of this movie, but it's rumored to be about a robot. Stanton's previous film as a director was Finding Nemo. He has been credited as a writer on Pixar's Toy Story films, A Bug's Life, and Monsters Inc. in addition to Nemo. Wall-E will follow Brad Bird's 2007 film, Ratatouille."

Robots, eh? Might Brad Bird, director of The Iron Giant, have a hand in this one?

I'm just throwing this out there, but I think maybe "Wall-E" is a working title to keep the mystery surrounding this movie, but I could be wrong. But I can't wait to find out what it is about. :)

Considering coincidences like Antz, Flushed Away, and Shark Tale, I can understand why Pixar would want to keep the story pretty closely gaurded.
