Somewhere a while back I dont know if it was here or on another board.. but someone mentioned a possible character meal with Buzz Lightyear at The Oddessy restraunt in Epcot??

My son is so into Buzz this would make his day!

also.. the new show in MK where the Diamond Horseshoe Revue was.. does this include Woody from Toy Story at all?

It has been several months since my last visit but it has been a good number of years since the Odyssey has been open consistently as a restaurant. I know that for a few years they have used it for overflow during the busy days around Christmas with a makeshift restaurant but usually, it is a location that hosts seasonal events. I wouldn’t totally dismiss it but

I wouldn’t get my hopes up either. It probably isn’t happening. I would see them doing a table service or buffet type meal (like Donald’s in Dinoland) at Cosmic Rays before doing something like that with Buzz in Epcot.

I think they should move cosmic ray to epcot, and replace his show at tomorrowland with Buzz Lightear's Spacey Snacks. they could use the same type of animatronic as the one in BLYSRS... that would be cool, and buzz is a craze right now!

I think this is a really cool idea! I think it could be eaily done too, maybe not the part about Epcot but making Cosmic rays a Buzz themed restaurant would be easy.

Back to the main topic... I have never heard about this rumor so I wouldn't hold my breath.

this was a rumour that was spread originally by a few WDW CRO CM's, about the time of the princess storybook breakfast, who were led to believe by one of their managers. He claimed he was the force behind the princess storybook breakfast, and was in the process of making a Toy Story Breakfast. Little did those CM's know, that this specific member of management was full of doggypoo...

Yes...Woody is in the new show, along with Bullseye and Jessie (I believe).

Does anyone think its at all possible for them to make a Toy Story themed meal? I was thinking it would kindof be hard wouldnt it? I mean Buzz and Woody both stamp autograph books at MGM and I've only seen Jessie sign her name.

Or could they do a character meal and just not have autograph signing?

Anywho.. I just hope they come up with one some time in the future. My kids are both nuts for Toy Story.

Oh and thanks for the Info on the new show At least we can see them there too

All I know about Toy Story food is Pizza Planet at the MGM Studios. It's right around the Muppet-Vision 4-D area.

I do not believe there are character meals, but there is meet and greet, I believe. I would ask MKT about this one!

Don't forget Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland! :wave:

Buzz is usually by the "TimeKeeper". I've never seen him at "Pizza Planet". Is the new show open yet? Sorry I havn't been to Disney in ages.
