any sales in jan?

I am trying to plan a trip to wdw in jan, right after the marathon, historically have they had any good sales this time of year? I want to stay at the contemporary resort.
Also, I called the contemporary to ask how much bigger the rooms are on the 12th floor, but they said there is no size difference but yet on the web page it says all the same stuff but more square footage, has anyone stayed on 12 with no concierge (spelling?) are the rooms any larger?

I know that there are some discounts from Jan. 1st until March 8th or so. We had a trip booked months ago for March, 2007 and I read on these boards that there was a promotion. An e-mail to our travel agent resulted in good news. She said that the 'Park Hopper' and 'Water Parks & More' options (which we had purchased) were now free. Also, there was a change in resort rates. As a result of these 2 changes, our trip, for 6 people, decreased in price by $814. (That's U.S. dollars too, not Canadian! ) January might be a great time to go. Enjoy!
