My umm ex step father lol...works for an Oldsmobile dealership.
A couple years ago...I believe 1998, there was an Oldsmobile event held in WDW. It was a golf tournament...and basically WDW was swarming with GM employees and their families.
It was a free trip for us b/c my step father at the time was a general manager at the time at that dealership. Every couple weeks in the mail we would get golf balls that had Disney characters on them and spelled out Oldsmobile.
Eventually we got all the balls and went on our trip to WDW.
While there, there were several special event held for all the Oldsmobile people.
One event was held at MGM Studios after park closing. Tour busses brought us in through the back of the park and dropped us off at the end of New York Street behind the arch. We walked through and there were streamers ect.. and CM's who were at each side like fans whom were screaming asking for autographs. There was food of course like at the other events that week...also Pizza Planet and Star Tours were kept open. All the arcade games were on free play of course.
It was just an awsome event...I didn't take any pictures though.
I was just wondering if anyone here was involved in the events of that week? It was a unique trip...
If anyone was there and had pics of that particular night I would love to see them too.
