Any New Mexico Residents on WDW board question?

I am thinking of visiting New Mexico next year for vacation, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if May or September is a good time weather wise to go. I have no planned destination in mind yet. Maybe Lincoln county and Santa Fe area if that helps any. But not sure. Thanks for your help.

I've never even been there, but I'd go to Albuquerque and take a Breaking Bad tour - visit the "Los Pollos Hermanos" Twisters place, etc.
