Okay.. the bags are almost packed.. everything is paid for.. the plane is getting gassed up...

we know "where we are staying".. its on BASE FOR THE FIRST TIME.. EVER.. since DISNEY WORLD OPENED..

but we are still renting a car.. and we didn't do the meal plan..

we hope to eat off base enough to keep our costs down..

tell me anything..

We are going to do Dole whips.. for the first time ever..

We are spending a day going to Silver Springs for the first time since 67 ..

tell me what we need to know..

btw since its our honey moon..31 years later.. do we register at city hall?

tell me anything that we should know that has changed in the past 6 years..

Something cool I discovered a few years ago, they don't enforce the fastpass windows. For instance, if your return time is from 1:00 to 2:00, you can go back anytime after 1:00 and they will let you in the fastpass line. Even if you go back six hours later. If you don't believe me, try it on a ride your not too concerned about missing. It really works.

Looks like you're ready to rock!!
I'm not aware of many policy-related things that have changed in the past 6 years or anything that would get in your way...but there have been plenty of attraction updates, refurbs and whatnot, but I assume you know that since you've got over 300 posts :)
Have fun, say hi to Mickey for me!!

Have a GREAT Trip to WDW!

Sounds like you got everything set. No, meal plan, eat off property and a rental car all good ideas in these $$$ times! Duckberg

You can definitely get a "happy honeymoon" or anniversary button (they won't check so pick whichever you want) at guest relations of any park, or I believe at check-in of your resort.

Which hotel did you end up choosing?

Yeah if it is noted on your reservation, which can be done if you do online check-in, they will be ready at your resort or at least they were at yacht club. We got to the desk, did the few things you need to do they sent us on up to concierge, they had another packet ready for us, with the list of our dinning reservations, park maps, and in there was a button for my birthday with my name. We got bumped up to concierge as a gift from our parents as we had just graduated from college and they had special celebrate buttons with "congragulate them! They just graduated from college!" written on them which was very very nice of them. But they might of done all that for us because it was very slow at concierge....:shrug:

I think the only advice I can think of right now without knowing a lot about your vacation is KNOW and PLAN. Try to make a sheet of things or places you want to go each day. It may sound a bit overly organized but it's really not. It saves a lot of time deciding what to do and you won't miss out on anything you don't want to miss. We've made a point of putting what parks we're going to, where we're going to eat, and where EMH are on a calendar for each day. We save a lot of time and we always get to everything we want to do. Have a wonderful time and I hope this helps!

Not a great idea, depends entirely on the CM you get...I sure wasn't letting someone in the fastpass line for M:S if they were SIX hours outside their time window.
