any help available ?

We are staying at AKL but I wondered if anyone could suggest when would be the best time to ask for certian things ..like I know we need a smoking room ..and my granddaughters would love the bunk beds .. should I request these things now ..or when we check in?

Call CRO now and tell them. Then call the resort directly and tell them 4 days before the trip. Then mention it at checkin.

If you check in early, they usually give you what you would like.

called and made the request .. I will Call AKL the 4 days before and request again when we get there thank you Disneyinsider and thanks a bunch wdwprincess03 because we will be getting there really early, we drive and arrive between 6 and 7 am I havent ever really not gotten what room or building I wanted ... but I did wonder if there were ways I could help make sure.

4 days out

In the past I have faxed my room requests 4 days prior. It is when your reservation downloads into their compuer. (the hotel that is) Otherwise you tell you travel agent or whoever you booked your trip with to note preferences in you reservation. Being the type A that I am, I do both. Enjoy your trip

We have always phoned direct to the Hotel with special requests and then asked again at check in. On the rare occassion when our request hasn't been granted we've always been given the opportunity to change rooms later, which we have done the CM are wonderful and its done with the minimal amount of fuss.
