On my last trip to Disney World I bought the book
"Remembering Walt" A great and personal book about his life and family, well worth the money.

"One day at Disney"
"Building Disney Dreams"
"Since the World Began"
"Walt Disney Imagineering"
"Inside the Dream: The Personal Story of Walt Disney "
"Man Behind the Magic: The Walt Disney Story"

And I seen one that is new and have to get at the bookstore at the marketplace. It is big and a hardback sooo I need to put some money aside for that.

If you mean Inside Disney: The Incredible Story of Walt Disney World and the Man Behind the Mouse by Eve Zibart, I strongly disagree. It has very little information about Walt, and he is referenced in the title. It talks more about Michael Eisner and the history of the Disney Co.

The book is incredibly unorganized and contains an incredible amount of inacurate information. Part of its purpose is to serve as a biography for Walt and it doesn't even get his birthplace right. It says he was born on "a cattle farm in Missouri." He was born in Chicago, IL!! It doesn't even get his place of birth right. It also says the castle can be taken apart in the event of a hurricaine, a rumor any true Disney fan knows is false. I could go on and on. Zibart should have done more research. This book doesn't live up to the "Unofficial Guide" name. What a disappointment.

Can anyone who has read this back me up?

My favorite is Walt Disney's Epcot: Creating the New World of Tomorrow. It has some great concept drawings and construction pictures. It is out of print but I have seen them on Ebay.

That sounds great, I'll look for it on Ebay. There's a great site www.waltopia.com which has some great concept drawing, the whole story, and even the full 24-minute video that Walt made explaining the project before he died.

I know its sacraligious for any Disney nut but I love all of David Koenig's books: Mouse Tales, More Mouse Tales, and Mouse Under Glass. It's the snoop in me I guess. I wanna know about all the dirt that goes down at Disney. :drevil:

"Since the World Began" is the most comprehensive book I have seen so far, but it was printed a few years ago. An update to that book would be great.

I agree about the "Walt Disney's Epcot" book - it's really good. There are two versions of the book, with one having something like 182 pages, and the other having 230-ish pages. Get the 230-ish page edition. I got mine on eBay for something like $11. Amazon.com also has them listed, but they're typically like $25-40.
