any Citibank customers here

I just opened a checking account with Citibank in Miami, and they have a promotion with my current employer which drops the $9.50 monthly fee... my question is, without that fee, is it pretty much a free checking account?

Anyone? Any help... lol

Good luck mkt. I worked in Kendall for 6 years and couldn't wait to get out of that area. I would suggest you check to see if you can join a local credit union.

I have my Vista FCU account which is based in Orlando.. that's for my Direct Deposit from work. My citibank account is there since they're the only US bank with branches in Puerto Rico and Spain... lol... it makes it easier to access on the road, and easier to have money put in from relatives.
