Hi there .. have you heard of anything special you can do on your children's birthday at Magic Kingdom? During our trip we'll be celebrating my husbands, my 2 girls' first and forth birthday. How can I make them extra special?

BE SURE to get a birthday button from Guest Relations in the morning. For my birthday, I had PS at Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner and they put us at a decorated table by the window. We got to see Wishes! from inside the castle. It was as if we had a front row seat!!

My birthday was last Friday. Two of my friends and I went down to Orlando to celebrate. We had a room at the Wilderness Lodge. When we were checking in and they asked for ID - I made sure they knew it was my birthday. Within minutes I had a "Where magic lives" certificate with "Happy Birthday" and a picture postcard from Pluto and Goofy. Plus, they upgraded us to the concierge level. That evening we went to guest relations at MK to renew my annual pass. I picked up my "Today is my birthday" button. My friends wouldn't let me wear it, but it was on our table at dinner at California Grill. After we got up to go watch Wishes, we came back to the table to find someone had written Happy Birthday's all over my place setting in crayon. Of course I got a candle in my dessert that night. After dinner, we stayed out at Pleasure Island until 2:00. Once we got back to the resort, there were three "Happy Birthday" balloons with an autographed picture and greeting from Mickey, "Happy birthday Chris, hope you have a magical day! Your Pal, Mickey Mouse". All these little touches, and I'm 35 years old. It was a great birthday - I'm sure any little ones will love spending their birthdays there.

Whenever I'm working, I make SURE to wish whoever has a button a happy birthday. In fact, even when I'm not working and I'm just walking around the parks, I still say that and people look at me weird lol.

Thanks for the ideas!

I would love to get a birthday balloon to tie on to my 1 year olds stroller .. do you think I could ask anyone for a balloon or is there anywhere to buy a birthday balloon? Or what if I brought my own balloon .. would they have hellium to inflate it at the park or resort?

Call me a crazy guy but if I was ever thinking about having my birthday in the Magic Kingdom I would have to be able to have it all to myself and whoever else I invite to come. lol

Four your little girls two words: character breakfast. The Crystal Palace in the MK is a good place. We celebrated my nephew's b-day there in 2000. It was a great experience all the characters (Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, & Piglet) signed a b-day card that was given to him. It was really a great experience for him as I think it would be for any child. Your husband will probably enjoy it too. The food is really good and it's buffet style! :sohappy:

I've celebrated a birthday at Chef Mickey's and really enjoyed it, we also celebrated my parent's wedding anniversary too which they enjoyed.

I never knew about the birthday buttons at that time so I didn't get one, but make sure you do. If they have their button on, they will get plenty of attention.
