Just returned back from our family trip last night. All in all it was a very good trip. Our nieces had never been down there before and they had an awesome time, but I learned a few things along the way.
We had a total of 9 people in our room(split up 5 nights at Kidani and 2 at BLT). For some reason we could never get out of our room until almost 11:00am every morning. I even had set up wake up calls for 7:30 every day.Not sure if I'll ever travel with teenage girls again.
Even though we got a late start every day, the lines were not that bad except for TSM which we expected. Kidani room was very nice, we had a 2 bdrm villa with a sav view. Only problem was that the front desk really messed up our bill and I'm still waiting for them to get it right.
As for BLT, I was really disappointed. We had a 2bdrm MK view on the 9th floor. You can see just as much of the parking lot as you do MK. The room was also in pretty bad shape. It looked like it was about 10 years old.The ref. was scratched and dented, the banquet seat had a very large gouge in the side and the bathroom tp holder had been ripped from the wall and was put back very poorly. The service at BLT was excellent however.
All told I don't think BLT would be my on my list of places to stay as I much preferred AKL, SS and OKW. Just my opinion though. But again on the whole it was a great trip.
