.. and well this one is probably going to have several similarities to the rumored Disneyland attraction which is a robot arm coaster.
This is also a robot arm coaster. It also happens to use 3D screens like Spiderman. The ride would be built in 2 parks. DCA and Disney/MGM Studios.
The entrance to the building would be large with the look of a Frank L. Write design. Guests would enter here and find the "Super Recruitment Center". Basically a place built to allow new supers to register and join up with the likes of Frozone and the Incredibles.
The first area is the registration area. After this, guests walk into the Suit Design center with Edna Mode displaying the latest fashions. Through several more cooridors and the briefing center comes. Here guests will take the role of the supers being selected their first mission. The villian, a new one created just for the ride. The mission ends and guests are asked to procede to the next room to prepare to fight in the battle.
The next room is a large semi-circle in design. 4-8 benches are located around. On these benches are over-the-shoulder restrains as well as leg restraints. Guests board these and wear masks to "hide their secret identity". A launch countdown occurs and when the time reaches zero, the chairs launch up into a higher room. Here wind blows and the sky rushes around as the cars wait for their time to go. When the time is ready, the car moves over the the first scene.
Scene 1: The "superhero" guests procede through the city at a highspeed pace. The buildings rush around them and the vehicle moves toward the smoke in the distance. Here, they meet up with Frozone and the guests will be able to actually feel the coolness of the ice he creates. Also, several buildings fall and the guests dodge the large buildings to avoid crashing and actually fly through one of the windows of the buildings. (everything but the flying through building part is done with 3D screens).
Scene2: Here guests finally meet up with the villian and begin the fight. Also here, the incredibles show up. As the whole fighting goes on, there are several highlights. Jak Jaks 1337 skills. Mr. Incredible throwing a destoyed building at the villian.
Scene3: The villian decides to leave and disappears with a puff of smoke. Dash says he saw where he went and procedes telling the guests to "follow me". Here, he jumps into the subway and the guests follow blazing underground dodhing trains and other things. Dash accidently falls into a pit but Elasticgirl(Mrs. Incredible) follows suit and catches dash.
Scene 4: The guests and other supers find the enterance to the villian's secret underground layer. Here, he beings to monologue but Mr. Incredible happens to shut him up with a boulder. The villian recovers and decides to go down by blowing up the base. He activates a switch and the whole place goes boom. Luckly Violet manages to use her force field and everybody is saved. No trace is left of the villian so the group decides to return to the base.
Scene 5: After rushing back into the sky, the guests re-enter the base and the alarm goes off for them landing. Here, the chairs go out to unload more of something like a traditional station.
I really do like the loading aspect of this ride. I mean think of how cool it would be that what appears to be perfectly normal benches around no track whatsoever is actually the ride itself. Another neat aspect is that this attraction could take up a really small footprint. Through the use of the screens, guests may never actually see the other people even if they are actually a foot or two away from each other. Another positive aspect is that this ride actually plays the guests as Superheros. It really goes the same way that guests are the stars in the Tower of Terror. And finally, the whole thing would actually keep the same look as in the movie. I mean it would really all appear to what the movie appears as.
Now what I want to know is how similar is the DCA version of this ride is even if it gets built or not. Well if it does get canceled, Jim Hill will very likely do something on the attraction.
