Since my last post was abobut our feinds wanting to stay cheap what can y'all tel me about Fort Wilderness Campgrounds? I stayed there once but it's been years ago and I don't remember much about them.

Very rustic. You can either bring your own room or stay in one of the cabins. There are also a ton of Recreational activities to choose from at the resort.

The cabins are about 20 ft. apart I think. But the trees and bushes are so dense you can't see the cabin next to you, they are really nice, pretty new alsoI think. They replaced all the old "Wilderness Homes", (Disney's nice way of saying, Single-wide trailer) with these cabins. I think they just finished putting in all the new cabins this year or last. I stayed in the campgrounds about a month ago. I wasn't too crazy about it..b/c i'm not much of a camping girl (even though we were in a motor home)! lol:lol: But, anyways....despite that fact, it was a really nice place....golf carts were very helpful...we were not far from the marina which was good to go places.....our campsite was Buffalo Bend...but the nicest comfort stations that we found were in Big Bear and Little Bear...right next to the campfire program! It was a fun place in general!:sohappy:
