another rental car question

We are going to WDW for three (yay!) weeks in May and I was wondering if one can already rent a 2005 Mustang from Hertz Orlando - I fell in love with that car the moment I first saw it and would love to drive one during our holiday.

I always rent from Hertz and I recall seeing Mustang's there, whether they are 2005 I can't tell you, but I can tell you that is considered a "premium" rental and they are quite expensive. If you go on the hert website www.hertz.com, look at the vehicle guide in the US in Florida you will see a listing for convertibles and it listed under there. I just did a quote on line and the rate is $69.99 per day, plus taxes and about $1,000 for 3 weeks. Note that they always say "or similar" for any of the vehicles because it gives them the right to substitute if they have to but, after you make your reservation, I'd call the week before and talk to someone at that particular location directly to request it again.

Yeah, they usually have Mustangs there, although I am not interested in the convertible but in the normal version. They did have it listed on their website under Special Sporty but not anymore - now there's just the Grand Am.
That's why I am a bit worried, but I agree it would be best if I called them up to be sure.

Hertz and I think Budget also rents the new Mustangs. Enterprise might, but I believe they're going with GT's instead of the V6 mustangs.
