Another Online Check-In Question

Hello all. I havent used the online check-in service as of yet and was considering giving it a try on our upcoming trip next week. I just had a couple of quick questions regarding the specifics before I give it a go.

Most importantly, I absolutely love using the room charging service and only having to carry my room key, a small amount of cash, ID, and pass while out and about in the parks. So my question is, if I use the online check in service will I still be able to authorize my room keys for charging privledges during online check-in process?

When using the service, does my room get selected automatically or does someone actually read my room requests and select a room accordingly?

Upon arriving and waiting in the online check-in line, will our packet with keys, times guide, etc. be already prepared berfore we arrive and waiting for us?

Thanks in advance!

I have used on-line check in several times and here are the answers to some of your questions:
yes, during the check in process you will be asked if you wish to use a credit card for room charging privilages. They have listed the card that I made my reservation with but you can change it to another card if you wish at the time.

I am not sure about the room request thing because that is attached to your reservation and it really isn't clear how they handle that.

Each time we have used on-line check in our packets have been already and waiting at the on-line check-in kiosk. You don't have to go through the regular lines at the registration desk when you use on-line. This comes in very handy when you arrive by car and the DME bus has just finished dropping off a whole bunch of people!!
I would highly recommend on-line check in if you are familiar with the resort. If it is your first stay at that particular resort it might be worth the extra time to get the particulars from the CMs

If you made a request on your original reservation, then it will be considered just like all other requests. The online check in form is not the place to make those requests, you need to call reservations and have it added. Just like all requests, nothing is guaranteed but they will do their best to accommodate you.

I have stayed at the resort a few times before, just never used the online check-in. Thanks for your help!

I have already made the requests, just wanted to make sure they werent overlooked due to the online check-in, so I think I'll be good.

I suppose we will give the online check-in a try this trip. Thanks for your help!

During on-line check-in there is an option to add requests, but it's limited to requesting ground floor, close to transportation, a Pack-n-Play and a refrigerator [for extra charge].

Other than that, requests would have to have been made when you booked.
