In return for bailing out DLRP (again), the Prince may request that a Four Season hotel (in which he is the major shareholder) be added to WDW.

"In addition, Alwaleed may bring up with Eisner the possibility of adding a Four Seasons to the roster of hotels at Walt Disney World in Orlando."

My question is: If Eisner goes for this deal (and I think he will), would it be like the Swan and Dolphin near one of the park or as a part of the Downtown Disney hotels (if there any room there)?

And where would you prefer it?

Interesting....I'd say they'll probably put it somewhere near Downtown Disney (with the others)....although another resort (ala Swan/Dolphin) near AK wouldn't be a bad idea...(since the area is kind of desolate and need of some life)....

Then again isn't it possible they'll just sell the land and have nothing to do with the hotel....

at least it'd be a nicer one, rather than another All-Star..

Again, this is only a possibility.
The other options listed in the article say he may buy the DLRP hotels and take the profits from that. This would still give them alot of cash which they obviously need.
The WDW hotel is not for sure. Just a possibility as he would like something in return for his investments.
The important thing is that he is not giving up on the resort and will bail them out. He wants this mess fixed once and for all.

Now as far as WDW goes I agree that a Swan/Dolphin hotel near AK is a great idea.

I have always thought that they should build a Hollywood Tower Hotel that you can actually STAY in. I think the theming would be so incredible...have everything look almost identical...minus the spider webs..and the broken elevator...of course.. haha

That would be pretty cool. Have it set on the edge of the MGM property.

What are the Four Seasons like? And I do agree that the Animal Kingdom area needs some things to see and do. It would have to be very carefully themed though. Maybe an Asian hotel? Anyway is Pop Century a value resort? I thought it was supposed to be like the All-Stars so let me know.

I, for one, don't like the idea of another outside hotel chain anywhere on property. I'd much rather see something new and unique.

...and Pop Century IS, indeed, a value resort. We've actually chosen to stay there this year. It's got the similar style layout of the All-Stars, but from thepics I've seen, it seems super nice and new. I can't wait!:)

I like that idea, a ski lodge with snow everywhere like Blizzard Beach. Cool! I don't think a TOT hotel would ever happen, it would be kind of dark and creepy and I can't see them building a whole other TOT building that looks the same as the existing one -Stephanie

We have two of them up here in Toronto. They are THE place to stay here. Actors filming a movie or up here for the International film festival (2nd biggest in the world!), rock stars in for a concert (The Rolling Stones book an entire floor) they all stay at the 4 Seasons. I have stayed there myself before I moved here, it's up there with The Ritz Carlton, etc.
The 4 Seasons are also sponsoring our new opera house. (Useless trivia).

I would love to see the Asian Resort finally built. I think the Prince would do it too. And it would fit in with their high end image.

Are we talking about THE PRINCE? The one who used to have the Revolution. When did he change his name back from a symbol? Ahh, Little Red Corvette, baby you are much too fast!!

And Stephanie, thanks for the feedback on the Alpine Lodge. I think that would be pretty 'cool'.

Believe it or Not:

The TOT was to be an actual hotel. Allmost a haunted house that you could stay in. Eisner eventually came to his senses when the Disney Lawyers informed him that anyone shaving and seeing a ghost in the mirror looking back at them could cause more than a few accidents.
I kid you not. Jim Hill Media has the whole story.
