When I was at DAK a couple of weeks ago, I saw a couple of large construction cranes in the area behind Camp Minnie/Mickey. I figured that they were just part of the EE construction and nothing more.

Now, today Screamscape is reporting that the two cranes remain in that same area. Has anyone else seen these? Does anyone else know if something more than EE construction is going on? (Uh-oh, their location could bring about yet another lengthy discussion about the possibilities of Beastly Kingdomme!!!!)

They are there to work on a cell tower behind the park. Disney is in the process of a major upgrade to their communication systems. The tower behind AK is being disguised as a tree. They are also doing work on the roof of Rn'RC, and have already done work on the roof of the contemporary and many other areas.

I was thinking just today about when the next announcement for AK will be made.

Soarin' started construction almost right after Mission Space opened. 2 years have gone by really fast.

With EE, when it opens, it would of been announced 3 years ago (feb 2003). So I'm thinking another attraction (whatever it may be) will be announced very shortly after EE opens.
