Another free dining question

I'm curious as to, if it's offered, how it's applied to your trip? We are doing the dining plan whether or not it becomes free, but if it is released that they will offer it free, do we have to call up and ask for it or will it just be applied to our trip?

Also, my extended family is also going at the same time as us (separate reservations) but they aren't doing the dining plan. If it becomes free, will they be able to get it?

If it becomes free, as long as your extended family has a vacation package and not just a room-only and they are staying for a minimum of 3 nights (that's what it was last year) they will be able to get the free dining.

If it does become available you have to call and change your reservation. They will Not just retroactively apply this to everyone, they're still a business trying to make money.
