Another cabana question

A couple months ago, I asked for info on cabana pricing and you guys were very helpful. Now, my question is if we rent a cabana for 4 on Serenity Bay, but we want to let other people in the family use it to get out of the sun, do we need to pay the extra $50 per person? We don't really care about getting extra "goodies" for those people. We'd just like them to be able to come in and see it and get out of the sun.

Is it really necessary to pay for extra people? If we only paid for 4, but then let 2 other people in (my father-in-law and his wife), would we get in trouble? We're not trying to "cheat", we just don't need the extra stuff.

Cabana guests are given a wristband to wear, that's how they know who should be in the cabana area. How closely do they monitor it? I don't know. No one was at the entrance area at the beach checking plenty of people rode their bikes on the road past the entrance of the cabana, and our cabana host didn't enter our cabana without us calling him or him knocking.

So I suppose you could have extra people in the cabana. I'm not advocating trying to "cheat" or "sneak" them in but if they were just visiting off the beach for a little bit in sitting in one of the chairs at the cabana you rented for the day I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with that. Also you do put the wristbands on yourself so if you left them loose enough, you could exchange the bands within your group too I suppose.
