Well it's that magical time of year, the time when every store, restaurant, mall and radio stations play Christmas jingles 24/7

and while I do enjoy some of the classics, Johnny Mathis Winter wonderland comes to mind, there are some that are truly horrible.

This is for fun and highly subjective so don't take it seriously. What is the one Christmas tune that you really hate, the one that can have you seriously considering celebrating Hanukkah.

I have two.
The Chipmunks christmas song. OMG I hate that with the heat of 10 suns and
The Christmas shoes. way to go kid, nothing like depressing me during the holidays.

honorable mention: James Brown's "santa claus go straight to the Ghetto".

Never knew Wille Nelson did a version of Grandma got run over. Luckily I have never heard it, but I am betting it sucks just as much as the original one.

I really don't like Little Drummer Boy.

I'm also not a fan of Do You Hear What I Hear, Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer, and I'm not a big Silent Night fan either (totally overplayed I night O Holy Night is better).

Do They Know It's Christmas....hate this song. A good concept, irritating song!

That is a bad song. Isn't there a line in there that says something about "be thankful it's them and not you" in reference to the people's suffering. Nothing says Christmas like...."Hey Merry Christmas, I'm glad it's you that is poor and suffering not me...":bored:

Okay, this has to be BY FAR the worst way to send Christmas wishes to another country....

Do They Know it's Christmas - Band Aid
It's Christmas time, and there's no need to be afraid
At Christmas time, we let in light and banish shade
And in our world of plenty, we can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world
At Christmas time
But say a prayer and pray for the other ones
At Christmas time, it's hard but while you're having fun
There's a world outside your window, and it's a world of dread and fear
Where a kiss of love can kill you, and there's death in every tear
And the Christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom
Well tonight we're reaching out and touching you
Bring peace and joy this Christmas to West Africa
A song of hope they'll have is being alive
Why is comfort deadly fear
Why is to touch to be scared
How can they know it's Christmas time at all
Here's to you
Raise a glass to everyone
Here's to them
And all their years to come
Can they know it's Christmas time at all
Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again
Heal the world

Yeah, not the most cheery. I actually found 2 different lyrics. I think the ones you quoted are from a newer version. In the one with Bono and Sting and all those folks one of Bono's line's is the one I was thinking of.... "Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you."
