Annual Pass Question

I am sorry if this is somewhere but I cannot locate, If we wanted to upgrade from our package we have in November to AP, what is the process? Do I just go to town hall and pay the difference? Is there a deadline during the trip? Ex. prior to first visit? before the package ends? etc. Also is the pass good for 365 days, I heard there was a bonus week, but I think that is just rumor. We currently have a 7 day package, but we might be coming back in July for a baseball tournament, and we always go during Thanksgiving, so we would have our annual trip in Nov 18

I think you do it at the ticket booth and yes, just pay the difference before the last day of your trip. Pass is good for 365 days from the first day you used the original ticket. The bonus week was for renewals only.

You can upgrade anytime as long as you still have a days admission left on your entitlement. You Pay the difference between the original ticket and the annual pass. Last fiscal year they had a buy 12 months, get the 13th free. I don't know of that's still in effect (renewed ours on Sept 30th). You can upgrade at any ticket booth at any Park, or Disney Springs, or town hall in Magic Kingdom.

When my DH bought his Premiere pass in August, they told him no on the 13 months for 12 because he was not renewing a pass.

Looks like they have dropped everything but the platinum and platinum plus passes. Anyone know when this happened?
