You'll still have access to FP+ on dates *after* your resort reservation (though with the ~7 days of active FP+ reservations limitation).

Yup, I see that. I think I misread Ron's post, I took it to mean we could use APs at any time inside the park. I wasn't connecting that with a stay at a resort (duh ).

We live 2.5 hours away so we usually hotel. Stayed at POP the weekend we bout our AP's and got bands back in Aug. They still work fine today. I do think it is a shame that Disney just assums AP holders will come anyway and have not offered MB's to those who want them.

I think Ron hit it on the head when he said disney isn't all that much interested with the annual passholders opinions on the subject. After all they know we love going to the parks.
