Hey guys, I have a question about purchasing Disney After Hours tickets and Disney Annual Pass. Me and my girlfriend are headed to Disney in September, and we are strongly considering upgrading our Park Hopper Plus tickets to Annual Passes when we get there. We're splurging on a 7 day vacation at Animal Kingdom with the Dining Plan, but would use the Annual Pass to return to Disney throughout the year while staying at off-site hotels for 2 to 3 days at a time. We would love to go back and experience Rise of the Resistance when it opens, as well as other attractions like Mickey and Minnie's Mine Train, because it will otherwise be years before we can afford to go to Disney again, and going from 7 day Park Hopper Plus to Annual Pass isn't too expensive.
ANYWAY... I really want to do Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom on September 5. I've heard that these tickets sell out quickly, and I want to purchase them before they're gone. The regular price is $125 per ticket, but for pass holders it is only $95 per ticket. My question is: If I purchase DAH tickets now for $125 per, and upgrade to Annual Pass when we arrive to Disney World, can we get a refund of the difference between the regular $125 that we paid, and the new $95 price that we would be entitled to after upgrading? I suspect the answer is 'No', but Disney customer service has been pretty great in my experience and from what I've heard, so thought it would be worth asking. Thanks for reading and replying!
