Annoying your friends and colleagues!!!

I'm off to the big old DW in October first time I've been back since 1994.

We booked it all back in April this year travelling from UK to POR for 16days :)

I've read and read and watched and watched every little piece of DW I can find all because of how excited I am about our trip.
Even checking this site every day :)

I've even got a countdown app to count down the days 55 and counting.

The reason I've wanted to write this is to vent how I feel like I'm annoying my friends and work colleague's by how much I talk about my holiday :p

Is anyone else in the same situation that they are so excited that you have become annoying to other people ?

I'm exactly the same, from the uk, and staying 16 days too!! I have the countdown on my desktop, all my calendars, everyday I'm looking at things online to do with Disney world, and every few hours I'll tell my boyfriend how excited I am. Sometimes I do a little dance when I'm on my own haha.
ONLY 38 DAYS 15 HOURS 3 MINUTES AND 45 SECONDS

I've never been before only once to Paris we went for two days, 10 years ago when I was 11. and I think it makes it even more exciting that we'll be taking our 3 year old with us! and she is Minnie Mouse and Princess MAD!!

My Mrs is the calm one when ever I show her something new with magic bands etc she says that's nice dear while I'm jumping up and down excited :)

yeah, I've been told if I wake up with a sock in my mouth it's because I haven't shut up about it!
we're staying in a villa about 10minutes away from DW. I'm going with my boyfriend and his family, they've been a fair few times before, but I'm new to all of this, I get overly emotional with things too, so I have a feeling I'll be blubbing all the time :facepalm: look - sob - it's - sob - minnie - sob - mouse

you? I assume with the magic bands it's a disney hotel? they look amazing !!

Yea Port Orleans Riverside we've booked our bands and done our fast passes :)

I have an autograph book I had last time I went when I was 13 I only got two signatures last time as I was too nervous to approach the characters I'm planning on getting it filled when I return :)

I've got my old one, which only has a few in, getting near them in Paris was hell! got shoved around. I think I'm gonna make one this time, just want to meet Belle, and then my trip will be complete! haha.

Are you just doing disney?

You can talk about holidays if you socialize with your work coworkers outside work.. work doesn't have to be work work work.
You spend most of your week 40+ hours with your coworkers if you all you do is talk about work then it must be a fun place that you work at ......

We have 14 day pass for Universal as well which has changed a lot since the last time I went.
But i'm not as excited for that but i'm sure I will be.

I have people asking me for advice all the time - even the travel agent!!!! They give me extra discount as I do all the work for them when advising people on where to stay, FP, Dining Plan etc. I get texts from my friends asking me to cost their holidays before they go the travel agent (Our travel agent has a best price policy and I shave £2k off my first holiday!)
I say to people "you're spending all this money, your car cost less and I bet you researched that thoroughly. Come on, let's go for coffee!". Haven't had anyone say I've given bad advice yet!
