So I am not staying on the property so I only get the 30 day FP window. 12am I log in, and A and E are already out. We are staying 9/12 - 9/20. I was wondering, can anyone with the 60 day window check those days for me and tell me if all those days are already sold out for A and E. I work at 4am, and staying up that late every night only to have it already sold out before I have a shot made me want to reach out.

I attempted to break it to my little girl that we may not meet A and E, the tears hit and that was Mission Abort. Again, if anyone could check those days for me, I owe ya one. Thanks guys.

I just went through the same situation for our trip on Sept 6 - Sept 11 (Staying off site so could only book FP+ 30 days out). I was on the MDE website every night right at midnight and A & E was always already gone. I did manage to get a FP+ for 7DMT on 9/6 but it was unavailable every other day of our trip.

You might already know this, but it helped me to book single FPs for each person in my group and then change the times later so that they all had the same window of use. When I tried booking a FP for 7DMT for all four of us it didn't work, but by booking four separate single FPs I was able to get them.

The good news is, you're traveling during a slower time of year, so peak waits for A&E are around 90 minutes (which as crazy as it sounds, is low for them).

Ideally, try to get to the park way before rope drop on a morning with EMH, so you're as close to the front of the line as possible. If you can't get there that early, the best bet is to wait until the last hour before the park closes, or better yet, visit during evening EMH. The wait at those times will still approach an hour, but it's better than the far longer wait that there will be for the rest of the day.

For what it's worth, here's what touringplans projects for A&E for your dates (the bracketed numbers are the range of projected wait times, in minutes, if you got in line at that time, on that hour). EMH have an asterisk. (As you can see, Saturday nights and mornings after rope drop (especially if you can get there for Thursday's morning EMH) will score you a wait of less than an hour. In the meantime, once your FP+ window opens, keep checking -- you never know if something might open up!

A friend is at WDW right now, the average wait was around 2 hours. They went towards the end of the night last night and it was only 45 minutes.

Wait, did they stop doing the paper fast pass minus for guests and are not closing the stand by line anymore???

Good question. That was tested, but I don't know if it's still in effect (or if it would be in September when the OP visits, but it will be a good thing for her to keep on her radar).
