Just so's ya'll know, a have it on good authority that many of the animation desks, (yes the same desks that spawned Mulan and many other films) were donated to Ringling School of Art and Design, here in Sarasota Fl. MANY of there students have gone on to work for disney, and I guess they found it fitting to donate them there. I guess I'll find out for myself next year...:slurp: :D

Actually, Mouse Surplus (on ebay....http://stores.ebay.com/mousesurplus) sold them as well. They were selling for over $900 as a matter of fact. So Disney didn't give them all away as MS got about 20 of them.

And to top it off, since that was my favorite show and the one thing that inspired me the most about Disney...and most importantly, started me on a path to become an animator for them (well, I was going to, now it's Management for them), I BOUGHT ONE!

It's still at their warehouse right now, just waiting for Rob to go and pick it up.

From what I remember hearing, is that Disney used to hold auctions for the types of things that Mouse Surplus gets, and since Disney became "friends" with them and knew that they were very reputable and were giving the items a good home, they now are in contract with Disney and get the items directly from them.

They do have a store in downtown Orlando, just check their site out to find the address, I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help you out. Their secretary's name is Carol, and Bryan is the owner.
