Hi, I know you wrote this a while back, but I looked up the drawing tablet (for lack of a better term) and many reviews of the Cintiq 12wx were not very favorable. People liked some of the options included but had issues with many other aspects of it. If you haven't bought it yet, I'd look up the reviews, otherwise....who knows maybe you'd like it.
I know that the animation program Flipbook by Digicel has an option to draw directly into the program. You can download a free version at the Digicel website. There are other pay versions which can get pricely, but it's really nice program. I usually just scan my animation in with a self feeding scanner and have no experience with drawing directly into the program. It is a nice program though.
