No details yet but I came up with an idea for AK nightime entertainment. It's called "Natures Wonderland" :lookaroun The show will take place by expedition everest. There is a huge lake that is located across the way from EE. I think it is where the river boat ride was. The water show can be viewed like DL fantasmic where the guests stand along the shoreline and view the show. The show would incorporate scenes from classic disney movies and shorts like lion king, jungle book and tarzan to name a few. The show would be the size of World Of Color.

Any Comments or Ideas?

What kind of ideas did you have in mind? Also, don't forget that the animals have strict bedtimes.

I once heard a rumor that said a DreamLights-like parade is coming to DAK with a boat theme.

Have you ever heard about this?

I believe you are referring to Rivers of Light. A planned nighttime parade that faced many challenges and in the end never got off the ground. From what I heard some serious work got put into it, but challenges with the park's layout and foliage ended up causing problems. In the end it would seem that it simply got caught up in development hell.

As far as the animals bedtimes, I don't believe a water show would effect that at all. I imagine pyro would (though I'm sure they are used to hearing far away pyro from other shows) but nothing big in the park. I don't think a water show would effect it that at all, and think that World of Color is destined to end up at Animal Kingdom if it's a hit.

World of Color does not even fit in Animal Kingdom. The Seven Seas Lagoon/Bay lake would be a better place for it as a replacement for Electrical Water Pageant.

World of Color could easily fit into AK, and would make more sense to add it to AK then Seven Seas lagoon. For one AK need a night time something; parade, show, something. No one would be able to watch it in seven sees lagoon except a handful of resort guests, which would make no sense.

Personnally i think any use of AK's large lake would be good. Either world of color, a parade using boats, or an other show.

It wouldnt fit in DAK, the lagoon/lake area is definaltey NOT half as big as Paradise Lagoon in DCA.

using google earth (the ruler tool) it says that Paradise Lagoon is (overestimate) 270x400ft, where as AK's lake is 350x500ft

or go on google maps at equal hight (look in the bottom left corner to make sure they are the same measurements) and you can easily see AK lake is bigger. (even if you include viewing area)

I admit, a show like World of Color would be a valid suggestion for Animal Kingdom's lagoon, but the show in its current incarnation does not fit the theme of Animal Kingdom. Seven Seas Lagoon, as far-fetched as it sounds, would be the better option in this case - but that's just my opinion.

well yes, i definitly wouldn't want the actual World of color show in AK, but a fountain show with a similar magnitude but definitely different video to fit the AK theme.
