June 14-20 is our dates and I noticed that AK is opened til 8pm on Tuesday, only 6pm on Sunday, and 7pm the other days..... Is there a reason it is opened til 8pm only one day ? Is that a good day to go because of the extra hour or is that they busiest day? Should we avoid going Sunday because of the 6pm closing time?

My choice would be to go when they close at 8pm. We are late risers so we always take advantage the parks that stay open late but if you wake early you may not need the extra 2 hours in the evening especially at AK. Or you could do something else tbe first half of the day and then head there for the second half on the day when they close at 8pm. All on which day works best for you, and what parks have what hours while your there. :)

The park is also open till 8pm on Wednesday the 17th, along with morning EMH. Someone could spend from 8am to 8pm at AK if they wanted to, and do everything with time to spare.
