Animal Kingdom Rumor...

I remember reading a crazy rumor last year that Disney was thinking about completely demolishing Animal Kingdom and building a thrill park like Universal's IOA so they could compete with them. Does anybody else remember this one, or have they even heard it before? I thought it was funny!

Why even bother posting this? It is so far the truth its not even funny ... this thread should be locked.

There is no chance of that happening. Disney would gain nothing by demolition an extremely expensive asset.

Also remember AK has higher attendance thatn IOA, there really isnt anything to compete with.

I think AK is one of the best - if not the best - *THEME* parks in the world. Why? The THEMEing is just awesome.

This is an atrocious rumor, but the AK does need a little help.

Was wondering if anyone would pick up on that. I've gained respect for AK its theme is wonderful. If I wanted a thrill park, I'd go to one.

OMG I can't believe I recieved a negative point for this thread. As I've said I've been a long time lurker on this board and I've seen many people post ridiculous rumor threads. I guess since I'm the new guy people want to pick on me! This is why I was hesistant to register for this board....
