Animal Kingdom or Epcot

A question on behalf of a friend of mine. They only have a short time in Orlando on their Florida tour, and she has 1 day left in her plans but can't decide on AK or Epcot for that day. I am assuming they don't have park hopper tickets, as I would have said AK first thing, and then head over to Epcot later in the afternoon for a late night there.
They are in their mid-20's, no children, so my initial thought was Epcot. Now I am not so sure. So thought you all would be able to help!!!!!

Generally speaking I would vote for Epcot but I would clarify with them that half of it is world showcase, and explain what that is – and if that does not seem super interesting to them then I would send them to animal kingdom because otherwise they just have half a park.

Also I would clarify if they are much into animals, and if they would be disappointed that a portion of animal kingdom may be considered "zoo – like."

Epcot for sure!! I don't think they would find enough do to at Animal Kingdom. Epcot has so much to do/explore for young adults including World Showcase. We tend to spend quite a few hours over the course of several days at Epcot when we are there between exploring, eating and enjoying different attractions/rides.

EPCOT for the unique, only Disney-can-create rides, and the atmosphere of World Showcase where two adults can explore, eat, drink, shop, and while their day away!

EPCOT! The whole atmosphere of the World Showcase esp at night is fantastic for adults!

I would pick Epcot, but no matter which they choose they should have a wonderful time. The early closing of AK could be a drawback if they are not morning people.

I'd be inclined to steer them to EP....unless they are really into seeing animals. But I'd give them a good description of whats available at both so they could choose which would interest them more. AK has some unique entertainment and stores. EP has the countries and better food choices. No matter which they choose, they will be missing out on a lot by avoiding the other.

I may be in the minority but I would choose AK. Epcot is just a bunch of well themed overpriced restaraunts. The rides at Epcot are tired. AK is a place of exploration and Discovery and changes with each visit. AK all the way!
