Hi All,

In May we will be headed down again and my wife and I want to have a late dinner at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, while grandma watches the kids. What are my options for getting from Port Orleans Riverside to Animal Kingdom Lodge and back? What kind of travel time should I give myself? We are totally dependent on Disneys transportation while there. Thanks all

Bus to AK and then bus to AKL i recommend take plenty of time, that way u can explore this gorgeous resort :sohappy:

Also depending on how late you stay at the AKL you may have to take the bus to Downtown Disney then to Port Orleans. That is providing the buses to the parks aren't running anymore. Oh yeah you said a late dinner so the buses to AK may not be running, so this may be another choice.

How late is your dinner? You'll have to go to one of the parks and hop on a bus to the AKL. When we had dinner at AKL, we went to AK and from there to the Lodge. And going home we took the bus to Epcot and the hopped on a bus to our hotel. Give yourself plenty of time to get there.
