While not listed, there is also a nighttime safari for resorts guests as well. We did it last month and it was great. About $70 pp and max of 10 people per night. Highly recommend!

A World Without a Bed Time
Witness the wild as it comes to life in complete darkness during this thrilling, hour-long expedition. Embark on a Night Safari—an excursion exclusive to Guests of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, as well as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House and Kidani Village.

The trek begins as you climb aboard a sturdy, open-sided safari vehicle. Feel the rumble as it departs into the midst of the evening, with only one goal in mind: to explore the savanna and its many animal inhabitants in all their nocturnal glory.

Look Beyond the Darkness
While the sun might have already said “sweet dreams,” it doesn’t mean the sights are few and far between. On the contrary, get ready to illuminate this voyage, thanks to a set of night vision goggles—available to help you make the most of your animal viewing extravaganza.

From gazelles and giraffes to ostriches and zebras, prepare yourself for a few all-new memories as you discover different kinds of animal activity at each stop. You may even get a chance to sneak a peek at the inner-workings of these Resort hotels—including their hard-working, animal-friendly Cast Members!

Please note that a portion of the Tour price will be donated to the Disney Conservation Fund.

It was a great time! Just be prepared for any weather and remember it's a bit more breezy out on the savanna at night. They mean it about late arrivals-we left 2 people behind. They said it wasn't fair to the people who showed up on time to short them their hour. Take your cell phone!!! You can take perfectly clear pics of the animals through the night vision goggles with it. Very cool and fun for the kids!
