Raging Spirits! Yikes. Not awe inspiring is it.

The story line as found in the newest issue of Disney Magazine page 17, is:

"...a ragtag bunch of adventurers stumbled onto this aproximately 5000 year old site. But these guys were explorers first and archaeologists a distant second, and along the way they made some mistakes.
The big mistake came when they were reconstructing the sacred altars of fire and water ans installed the last piece of the water god's head backward, so it faced the fire god."

The effects include clouds of steam, jets of water, flashes of fire and a 360 degree loop.

I'm not crazy about the name (maybe it sounds better in Japanese). But let's all face it right now it going to kick anything at WDW, DLR, or DLRP (so much for the Indy comparison) oh and of course hkdl ("whatever" with that whole park).

Hey JR!! Haven't posted much, for a change, due to murder trial I'm working on. The good is I'll make some nice pocket change. The bad is that I'll be working my off.

OLC is so awesome. Don't even know where to begin. Really and example of taking the original concept and running away with it. The good news is that it looks like I may have a group of friends going in 2007. I'm sooooo there!!

MURDER TRIAL??? No wonder you're a Disney escapist (like myself).

I saw Al's article at Miceage. You have to feel bad for those DL CM's.
Even WDW get's more then they do. I'm pretty disapointed in the 50th plans for that park.

You are going to have the best time in Tokyo, don't forget to see the city as well as just TDLR. It's so amazing! Make sure you take (and then post of course) lots and lots of pictures. And since you are a reporter I want good dialouge to go along with it.

Well, I'm not that kind of reporter. Court reporter. But I will take lots of photos and I shall write excellent captioning.

As for the DL CMs, I soooooo feel for those people. They're always getting shorted. I guess I'd be feeling like the red headed step child too.:lol:

The name for the ride is different, but I like the general concept although they probally could have done better with the story(sounds thrown together). I actually hoped they would do something like this for adventure land in WDW if they weren't gonna do fire mountain first. WHen I first heard the name I thought it was gonna be about some anchient oriental demon causing problems. SOmething like that might be cool for epcot.
