Actually not a jet plane.... a silver ford windstar lol same thing! My three best friends and I are leaving tomorrow morning. But, tonight they (Vanessa, Sara, and Meghan) are all sleeping at my house to prepare. We've written "Disney or bust!!" (a tradition in this house) on the back of the rental and we'll be on our way in the morning. I suppose this thread will turn into a trip log with Kicker updating it while I'm down there. I'm actually looking forward to the 24 hour drive from Jericho Long Island to Lake Buena vista! (arent I sick!!) :lol:

I don't excactly know if I'm going to be doing a trip report during the week... I might not have time because I'm with Alison all day . i too think the car drive up to disney is exciting....just the anticipation of knowing your wonderful destination!!!!!!! i just think its cool...the way back kinda sucks though...but i like going there

i live 13 hours away from Disney...i too enjoy the trip down...course we drive at night, so i sleep most of the trip, and of course i've never had to drive down there (yet)....i REALLY dread that! i hate driving (but that's a whole nother story! :animwink: )

Thats one hell of a car drive. I find a 10 hour flight quite mind numbing (in flight movies and games obviously help). Have a good trip.

Okay... she left this morning at 10 o'clock... so if you are wondering why she hasnt posted back..... well, she can't.

And in response to the question about her friends, two of the three have been before. One of them hasn't... And trust me, Alison and I are planning on helping her experience the Magic (and no gutter-talk after that statement).
