An update on EROS Tea....

As some of you may have read last week, after searching far and wide, I located the vendor who purported to sell EROS tea to WDW for High Tea at the Grand Floridian. The company, Tealeaves, is in Canada and has a very easy to deal with website. www.tealeaves.com

My order was delivered last evening (less than a week after placing it) and, lo and behold, it IS the EROS tea from the GF....a/k/a the most wonderful black tea in the world!!!

Anyway, to the best of my recollection, the EROS tin is the same size as the Twinings tins you can get in the UK in the WS. However, with delivery, the cost is $32.00. Now, that might seem like a bit much, and even though I think the best of this tea, my wife LOVES it more than I do. So the price is very much worth it.

I just found this post when I googled Eros. I too love this tea. I'm not sure if you know you can buy it @ the GF @ the Garden View. It was $20 when I got it. So next time you're there you can stock up. :animwink:

We tried the energy blend of this tea while dining at the Wave and loved it, my 18 year old DS had me find it online and purchase it.

They sell the EROS tea in Publix supermarkets. They had it in the Birmingham, AL stores when we lived there. I'm sure it cost ALOT less at the Publix. It might be worth your while to take a cab to the local Publix near WDW and pick up a few boxes as souvenieers while you are there.:shrug:

Also, check your area for local "specialty stores"- Whole Foods, Fresh Market, etc. They might also carry this brand.
