An Oz Sequel Concept: "Escape From Oz"

I really think a sequel to "Oz the Great and Powerful" should definitely be made, and I come up with a little concept myself. I will post it here because it really doesn't belong anywhere else. So far here is the cast and crew.

The plot outline will come in chapters.
·Chapter 1: Sepia Stand-Up
ØSet in New York City, 1910
ØJimmy and Emily go to a diner
ØRadio plays, host sounds depressed and makes unconfident thunderstorm weather forecast (on a sunny day), fired on air
ØWaiter converses, compliments couple, recommends they run away to the Midwest, idea bashed rudely by Jimmy
ØAfter meal, Jimmy suggests boat ride on the [Hudson] river for later that night
ØA thunderstorm begins to brew while Emily rents a boat on the river bank, she waits on the dock
ØShe is stood up, angrily boards boat and takes it out in raging storm, begins to weep
ØWhirlpool forms in river, boat is sucked down into it

·Chapter 2: Welcome to Oz
ØBoat capsizes and resurfaces in the Truth Pond, Emily guides it to shore and disembarks
ØFurlong stands in front of her speechless, introduces himself as a munchkin surveyor and map maker who hopes to travel beyond Oz to other parts of the Nonestica continent and map them
ØEmily hastily introduces herself as Em Brown from the Big Apple and asks about wizard?
ØFurlong ignores her and asks how big of an apple, what kind?
ØAs he lists different types, Em asks again about the wizard, he tells her about the king of Oz and his magical abilities
ØEmily is amazed as Furlong rambles on, then she asks what is the way back home
ØFurlong says he has never surveyed a land called “Big Apple” but the wizard will surely know how to send her back to her home
ØThey decide to head off for Oz on a forest path
