i never saw pirates but i heard it's phenominal...either way, depp deserves it. he's a fantastic actor and a hottie!

I never watch the academy awards, because their choices usually irritate me. But Jack Sparrow is one of the best and most memorable movie characters ever, and Johnny Depp definitely deserves some credit for it. Here's hoping he gets it.
