We are traveling to Disney next September and staying on property. We will be setting up the whole Magical Experience. I have a niece that will be joining us for a few of the days- not nights.
My questions:
If I purchase her tickets online with my magical experience -along with our package will I be able to set up fast passes that go at the same time as ours?
Also if we set up a dinning reservation for us will we be able to say 6 instead of 5 -even though she will not be staying with us?
And I think all we have to do to get her a magic band is buy her one at the park and they will link it. Right?

You won't be able to book her Fastpasses with yours. Since she won't be a resort guest, she won't be eligible to book until 30 days out, while you can book them at 60 days. But at 30 days, you can log on and attempt to book as many as possible for her that overlap or mirror yours.

And she won't need a Magic Band, unless you want to buy one upon arrival. Her plastic ticket will have the RFID chip in it and will work just like a Magic Band. It just won't be linked to any rooms.

And when you make Dining Reservations, you should be able to select as many people as you need for the party size. You may want to have her setup a My Disney Experience account, and link her to yours as a Friend.

It's actually easier than that.

Once you have FP+ choices made for some of your party, if you go onto the FP+ page on the MDE site there's an option to "Add Friends and Family to existing FastPass+" that allows you to copy your choices directly to someone else (pending availability of those exact time slots). That way you don't have to worry about figuring out what time one person has and choosing a time for the other person that's close to it.

And even if the exact time slots aren't available, I think the system will come up with suggestions to edit the existing times so that everyone has the same time slot.

I would recommend that you add her to your dining reservations when you make those reservations. Depending on the popularity of the restaurant you may not be able to add her later. We just tried to add someone to an existing dining reservation and the CM couldn't find a table to accomodate. It isn't like other places. They won't just add a chair.
