Amex points

I kind of remember reading that you can use American Express points for meals at WDW. Does anyone know about this? Has anyone done this? Thanks. joni :wave:

I'm not sure if that's still the case. Up until Dec 31, 2002 AMEX was the official card of WDW. You used to get some extras by using it (including 15% merchandise at DD if staying at a Resort). I also remember at one point you could get WDW passes by using points, but I looked into it recently at AMEX and couldn't see it offered any longer. Although I can't confirm it, I'd say it's probably not likely offered any longer.

Time to get a Disney Credit Card (Visa) I would if I could - but I'm in Canada and right now it's only available in the US.

JM, Amex is no longer affiliated with Disney. In May, I was going to use my Amex points for Park Hopper Passes and was told by Amex that Disney is no longer a partner. This sucks. I also had enough points for a 4 night WDW vacation.
