Go see it, and let us know what you think. I love it.

Look at the showtime guide when you arrive, also, and plan your visit so that you get to see the Voices of Liberty a capella group sing in the rotunda before the show....

They are worth the price of admission alone.

Hey, prberk, good to see someone put this into the proper context. It's an emotional issue for everyone.

I thought it silly how the film and television industries were deleting the towers from scenes just because they didn't know how audiences would react to seeing them. If the story is based pre-September 11, the towers should be there.

Like prberk said, if it's supposed to be a current representation, it might be better to have a different scene altogether, as opposed to trying to decide whether to leave them in or out. IMHO, the towers made the New York skyline what it was. Without them, it's simply not as magnificent. Hopefully, they come up with something worthy of the great city of New York. Then Disney can use that.

I agree with Dopey. I think that they should keep the towers in the show. If (and when) NYC decides to build something there, then remove the towers and update the skyline.

Through the last few days it's been stated over and over that the skyline of NYC is wounded and incomplete. In the design stages for the replacement, they have said they are looking for a "Modern NYC Eiffel Tower".

I'm sure sometime of large office building will go on the site as well, as that is a stipulation the port authority has layed out. They must have the same amount of office space available as before.

I have a feeling something truly special is going to go there to show the resiliancy of not only New York, but also our great nation, and the world. If and when that happens, I welcome a change to the AA. Until it is reality, the empty pit and small reminders are VERY good things.

well i disagree with anyone taking the towers out of pictures and movies but if the showing is supposed to be a current representation then i would leave that scene in until something is rebuilt on the site and update with maybe a little snippet at the end devoted to the towers or something but for the forseeable future keep the towers in.

I agree with you all I say leave them in,but when they build the new building change the scenery to reflect this and just have snippits of the WTC and the heroes of the day!

This I basically agree with. As for dreamer's comments I don't have anything nice to say, so :zipit:

I also say leave the towers in. I love the American Adventure; it's a celebration of what's best about America, while at the same time pointing out the need for improvement and growth. The point of the American Adventure is that the American spirit is indominitable; what better symbol of that in recent times than the towers? That horrible tragedy brought together an entire nation in a groundswell of support for the victims and their families. And isn't that what we, as Americans, do best - band together, and rise to the occasion?

I agree that they leave them in until the new towers are built or a overhaul of the attraction is done.

A bit off topic about the Uniting of America. Maybe some of you should visit our public middle schools. I teach there and believe me, there is no more American Spriit and there was before 9/11. The kids still don't respect our country or anything else. They are so desensitized to violence by television and movies that they probably think it is the same thing. They would not even watch a patrioitic presentation on the TV that I created for them. Oh well, sorry for my little gripe session.

IMHO the towers should never have been taken out of anything they were ever in. Just because a tragedy has happened involving them dosen't mean we should erase them from memory. I think it is a nice tribute to leave them in whether it be a movie or a theme park attraction.

I think they should be left in. Taking them out is like denying they ever existed in the first place, and thats an insult to those who died on that tragic day.

Even if something is buit in its place, those small memorials should remain.

I am sorry. Do not get discouraged. I guarantee a few are listening, even if they do not let you know it...
