I am looking at the restaurants in Epcot World Showcase. Why is there no full service sit down restaurant in the American Adventure. I think it may even be the only Pavillion with no sit down restaurant.:shrug:

I've always wanted to see one there myself. I can see why they wouldn't though, with American food prevalent throughout Walt Disney World.

I'd like to see a steakhouse there of some kind. I'm trying to think of a very "American" type sit-down restaurant concept and that's the first thing that comes to mind.

Maybe a restaurant with items on the menu from each section of the US. South-gumbo, Northeast-clams, Midwest-tavern-fried chicken or deep dish pizza, West-?, Southwest-something tex-mex, and Pacific Northwest-?.

I agree. The only thing I could think of is that there are other restaurants on property that offer American cuisine, such as Artist Point and Whispering Canyon at the WL. But, those didn't open until well after Epcot, so maybe that blows that theory.

There's also enough truly American cuisine to fill another restaurant! Part of me wonders if Americans would want to eat truly American cuisine, but you know how people go crazy over McD's at the park, so maybe not so.

I have yet to see any restaurant with good midwestern style food like deep dish pizza, tavern-fried chicken, well almost everything fried I guess, or charcoal grilled meats ands vegetables.

How about a BBQ restaurant featuring the different kinds of regional BBQ - Lexington and Eastern style NC BBQ being the stars, of course! But also Memphis, Texas, etc.
