Does anyone know when this was built? I feel like it wasn't there in 2000 - I remember watching Illuminations right in front of the US and don't remember this being there. I could be wrong.

Also, are the concerts they hold here during F&W super loud? I don't mind the occasional loud concert, but the idea of a band like 38 Special or Boyz II Men blasting while I'm in Italy or Japan is a real turn off.

I'm not sure myself when the Overhang was built. But, I do recall it was an open theater in the 80's. I found a picture that proves that..

As for concerts..It's just loud as you get closer...But, like any band playing in WS you can hear them across the lagoon. I could hear Off Kilter from Refreshment Post. But, it never really bothered me..

LOL I love 38 special. The concerts are not that loud. Right in front of course it is pretty loud but as you walk away it is pretty quiet, by the time you get past Japan you can't even hear them.

You know that 38 special does come for the food and wine fest and they do sing Hold on Loosely. I have heard them in the past and will be there this year when they are there. I sing loud and proud with them. LOL
